Lila de la Vega, born in Argentina and having spent half her life in Berlin, was heavily influenced by the music played at home, including The Beatles, Simon & Garfunkel, and Cat Stevens. However, it was the Blues Brothers movie that first exposed her to the world of music and captured her interest.
At the age of 20, Lila made a spontaneous decision to move back to Buenos Aires, where she picked up a guitar and began exploring the possibilities of music. Her style is characterized by a country rock touch. It wasn't until she returned to Berlin in 2020 that she felt ready to take her music to the next level by writing her own songs.
Her debut single, "Longtime Friend," pays homage to the value of enduring friendships that survive the test of time and distance. As a frequent traveler, Lila has firsthand experience of the importance of these bonds. Currently, she is working on new material that will be released in the coming months.
